What the Farin record supports

Farin’s captured roster fields identify him as a playable Dwarf. That pairing is the useful fact for a player choosing a first hero or checking a party conversation. The page does not claim a precise weapon preference, a fixed defensive value or a preferred difficulty because none of those fields are bound to the roster record. A compact record can still be a complete answer to an identity question when it states its boundary clearly.

The current Legacy Edition is a 2026 product record, while the original PC release is a separate 2011 record. This page uses the current edition as its shell and points to the historical manual only for the terminology it actually supports. If a guide uses Farin’s name beside a manual phrase, check the Editions and Platforms route before assuming that every surrounding detail belongs to the current store product.

Its text explains how to use shared vocabulary such as Sanctuary, War Cry, Evasion and elfstones without turning the Dwarf label into a hidden numerical build. The player can choose Farin now, then learn the common systems with the edition boundary still visible.

Using the Dwarf choice as a route

Each route carries its own source record instead of making the hero page carry every fact.
